Heat rose
to Abby’s cheeks. She’d had enough.

She plucked
the tiny glue stick from Brennen’s large hand and jabbed it into his chest.
“One, two, three! Eyes on me!” she said, in the meanest voice she’d ever used
to recite that common teachers’ prompt.

The man
cocked his head to the side and met her gaze.

She held
the glue stick in place. “I don’t care who you are. You could be the King of

She jabbed
the glue stick a fraction harder. “Maybe you can understand this? In my
classroom, I am the CEO. I am the B, O, double S, boss. And what I say goes.”

His eyes
went wide, and he stared at her. It wasn’t the aloof stare he’d given her
earlier. No, this look brimmed with astonishment. She could feel the heat of
him. Sense every muscle in his body tensing like a predator deciding if he
wanted to pounce. Inches apart, he held her gaze. The tiny glue stick, the only
thing separating them. Her body zinged, and she wasn’t sure if it was from
laying down the law or that if she pushed up onto her toes and he bent down,
their lips would be mere millimeters apart.

☆☆☆☆☆ 5 STARS ☆☆☆☆☆

This is the second book I’ve read that was written by Whitney Dineen in the Relativity Series and she knocked my socks off once again with the well written story, amazing and relatable characters and events within the book and I literally laughed out loud through the entire book!

People do crazy things to protect their loved ones, but Nan is by far the craziest and the most loving grandmother anyone could ever ask for.

This book brought to light love in every aspect it comes in and a horrible mother in Mrs. Schweer, shame on you!

I loved both books in the series and will watch for more books by Whitney Dineen for a laugh out loud good read!

Catriona Masterton’s fiancé, Ethan, is Normal.

He plans trips six months in advance and arrives at the airport a minimum of three hours early. He purchases life insurance, luggage insurance, and always opts for the extended warranty. He’s responsible, reliable, and would make any woman a wonderful life partner.

In other words, he’s the exact opposite of the Masterton clan.

Cat’s mother has a kitchen gadget fetish, a father whose best friends are taxidermied field mice, and a super stoner man-child brother who lives–where else?–in the basement. Then there’s Nan, her proud Scottish grandmother with a proclivity for profanity and mischief.

What on earth will Catriona’s Normal fiancé think when he comes home with her to meet her parents? What will he think when he discovers his soon-to-be in-laws invited Cat’s ex to join them for Thanksgiving dinner?

Find out in a laugh-out-loud journey of self-discovery, familial pandemonium, and love. A must read for fans of a true romantic comedy!

Everyone say’s that their family is crazy and this book reminded me of when I took my soon to be husband home for the first time and how I saw them through my future families eyes and how crazy and awkward some of the moments were, this book gave my real family a run for their money.

I loved it from the first page and am starting on the next book in the series as soon as I finish this review.

Now, two people who are used to saving others are forced to save themselves: one from a lonely future and one from a broken past.

A•R•C ~ I was given Book ‘Em Sadie by Danielle Norman as an Advanced Readers Copy (A•R•C). I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

☆☆☆☆☆ 5 out of 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Book ‘Em Sadie is the first book in the Iron Badges Series, great characters, amazing story line and good plot twists.

Sadie lost her Mom when she was 4 years old and now as an adult helps children who are missing one or both parents, she mentors at Kidz Klub once or twice a week when her schedule allows. She meets Ryan who is an ER Doctor during an accident that happened right outside the hospital he works at. Attraction is strong at first site, and its been 4 years since Ryan’s wife was killed in a car accident took her from him and their daughter Callie. Callie is a strong independent little girl who wants to be GI Jane instead of a princess.

Again, great characters that make me laugh out loud just when I needed it the most.

I’ll definitely recommend this book.

Thank you and Happy Reading!

I didn’t mean to kidnap the groom.

It was an accident.

At least I didn’t take much time to plan it. It was more of a spur of the
moment kidnapping. Does that count?

One minute, the town’s bad boy is standing at the altar about to marry the
world’s most evil kindergarten teacher. The next, he’s passed out in my Vespa
sidecar with his bride hot on our tail.

But I didn’t have a choice! I couldn’t stand by and watch Jace O’Dell be
blackmailed into a loveless marriage. And besides, what’s a little kidnapping
between friends?

Okay, so maybe we’re not just friends…

And maybe I can’t quit thinking about that night at his bar when he closed up
early and had me on the rocks.

And maybe this crazy stunt is going to blow up in both of our faces.

If it does, I’m blaming the moonshine.

Even though the only thing I’m hammered on when it comes to Jace is
love—straight up, no chaser.

Cover Reveal – Perky by Julia Kent

Title: Perky
Author: Julia Kent
Genre: Romantic Comedy

Cover Design: Hang Le

Release Date: July 30, 2019

One hundred years ago when I was young and impulsive (okay, it was five,
alright? Five years ago…) I let my boyfriend take, let’s just say…
compromising pictures of me.

(Shut up. It made sense at the time).

Surprise! The sleazy back-stabbing jerk posted them on a website and,
well, you can guess what happened. That’s right.

I’m a meme. A really gross one.

You’ve seen the pictures. And if you haven’t – don’t ask. And don’t look!

As face recognition software online improves, I get tagged on social
media whenever anyone shares my pictures. You try getting a thousand
notifications a day, all of them pictures of your tatas.

So. I’m done.

It’s time for revenge. Let him see how it feels! But how do you get
embarrassingly intimate pictures of your jerkface ex who double-crossed you
five years ago?

Especially when he’s a member of the U.S.House of Representatives now?

Getting sweet between the sheets with a congressman is pretty much every
political roadie’s dream, right? I’m one in a crowd.

Except to this day, he swears he didn’t do it. Pursued me for months
after I dumped him five years ago. Begged me to take him back.

And I almost did it. Almost. I was weak and stupid and in love a hundred
years ago.

Okay. Fine. Five.

But I still have the upper hand. Second chance romance has all the
emotional feels, doesn’t it?

I can’t wait to punch him in the feels.

All I need to do is sleep with him once, take some hot-and-sweaty pics of
him in… delicate positions, and bring him down. That’s it. Nothing more.

Pictures first. Revenge after. And then I win.

At least, that’s how it was supposed to happen. But then I did something
worse than sexting.

I fell in love with him. Again.

Ryan “Dirty
Harry” Callahan woke to the sounds of someone shouting and the beeping of a
large truck backing up. His head throbbed as if someone inside chiseled away at
his temples. The shouting and beeping continued and he groaned. Where the fuck
was he?

He cracked
an eye open and pain shot behind his eyeballs. He tried again, slowly. This
time, he paid attention to his surroundings. He was in his own bed. What the
hell had happened?

Then he
remembered. The party at Money’s place, Ian Black, and a whole lot of drinking
and laughing. He’d indulged too much, which wasn’t something he ever really
did. He usually had an iron will about alcohol and he guarded himself

yesterday—shit, yesterday had been different.

Had Neo
gotten drunk too? Had they taken an Uber, or had someone brought them home?
They shared a house, though they each had their own floor. The kitchen was on
his floor, but he didn’t smell coffee.

He dragged
his hand across his body and reached for his phone. Outside, the shouting and clunking
continued. The beeping had stopped, but now the noise was just as bad.

He picked
up his phone and squinted. Noon? It was fucking noon?

He dragged
his body upright, groaning. Then his gaze landed on the bottle of water and the
two horse sized Motrin sitting beside it. Neo had written a note, which meant
Neo hadn’t been as drunk as he had.

grabbed the pills and twisted open the water, downing them both. He finished
the water and lay back, wishing his head would either split and kill him or
stop pounding. The doorbell rang and shattered whatever peace he was trying to
find. He lay there like death warmed over and prayed they’d go away.

he climbed from the bed, grabbed his Sig, holding it at his side, and stumbled
down the hall toward the door. He wished like hell he had the basement floor
today, but it wasn’t to be.

stop pressing that bell,” he yelled at whoever was on the other side. And just
yelling it made his head threaten to split wide open. He reached the door and
peered through the peephole.

A woman
stood on the other side, arms crossed, foot tapping as she waited. He jerked
the door open and growled at her.

“What do
you want?”

Her eyes
widened as they climbed from his midsection to his face. Then they widened some
more. “Oh. Oh goodness, I am so sorry.” She held up both hands as if to ward
him off. He squinted at her, because the light was killing him, but what he
could see looked nice.

golden-brown hair, wide eyes, a pretty pink mouth. Her skin was tanned. She
wore a loose T-shirt and shorts with flip flops. Her legs were long, long, long
for a small girl. He’d be interested if he wasn’t so fucking hungover.

Across the street,
a moving van sat kind of cockeyed in the street. His truck sat next to the
curb, right in front of where the van needed to go.

It dawned
on him what she wanted. “You want me to move the truck, right?”

She stared
hard at his face. “Um, yes? I’m sorry, you clearly look like you’re ill or
something, but—” She waved a hand behind her, didn’t move her eyes from his.
“I’m moving in today and the van can’t get into the driveway.”

He shoved a
hand through his hair. “Fine, I’ll get the keys.”

He turned
and went over to the kitchen counter, found the keys and dropped the Sig, and
headed back to the door. She was still standing there, back turned as she
yelled something at someone across the street. He stepped onto the porch and
she turned around again. Squeaked as her gaze dropped and then she dragged it
up to his face again.

“I, um, oh
dear,” she said. And then she laughed, throwing her hand over her mouth and
giggling in a way that made him frown. Pretty laugh, though.

“I’m sorry.
Really. But, um—” She waved her hand in his general direction. “Shouldn’t you
put on some pants?”

Ryan stood
there, puzzling over her words. Then he looked down—and discovered he was
completely and utterly naked. He was standing on the front porch in front of
God and everybody, holding his keys, his dick standing at half-mast like a
tired old soldier who couldn’t quite make it work.
